DE2.PARTS — Returns & Refunds Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
At DE2.PARTS, we take considerable care to accurately identify, photograph, describe and supply our motorcycle parts.
We ask all customers to check product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, part numbers and fitment information carefully before purchasing.
1. Contact Us Before Returning Goods
Customers must contact DE2.PARTS through the Contact page before arranging a return wherever possible.
Please provide your order number, the item concerned and the reason for the return.
We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.
Do not send goods to our registered office, dispatch location or any address printed on shipping paperwork unless specifically instructed to do so.
Our designated returns address will be supplied following your enquiry.
This procedure helps us identify incoming parcels, resolve problems promptly and prevent lost or misdirected returns. It does not restrict your statutory cancellation or consumer rights.
2. Unwanted Items and Incorrect Purchases
Customers purchasing online generally have the legal right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
Customers must notify us of their decision to cancel within that period and return the goods within a further 14 days.
For unwanted items, incorrect purchases, changes of mind or parts ordered for the wrong motorcycle, the purchaser is responsible for the direct return postage costs.
DE2.PARTS does not provide free return shipping for these circumstances.
Customers should use a suitably packaged, tracked and insured postal service appropriate to the value of the goods.
We recommend retaining proof of postage and tracking details.
Where a cancellation right applies, the original standard outbound delivery charge will also be refunded as required by law.
3. Condition of Returned Items
Returned items may be inspected against our original product records, descriptions and photographs.
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in their possession.
For cancellation returns, customers may inspect and handle goods as they reasonably would in a retail shop.
Where handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of an item has reduced its value, a lawful deduction may be made from the refund.
Examples of excessive handling may include installation, operation, contamination, modification or damage to a component.
Any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value and will be made only where legally permitted.
4. NOS and Individually Identified Components
Many of our NOS products are older, discontinued or limited-availability components.
We carefully photograph and identify individual products, including relevant markings, packaging and visible condition.
Where a return is requested, we may compare the returned item with our original photographic and inventory records.
Items returned must be the original goods supplied by DE2.PARTS.
Substituted components, unrelated parts or items not supplied under the relevant order will not be accepted as legitimate returns.
Suspected fraudulent substitutions or deliberately false claims may be investigated and reported to the appropriate authorities.
These provisions do not affect legitimate claims concerning faulty or misdescribed products.
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Goods
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is materially misdescribed or is not the product ordered, please contact us through our website as soon as reasonably possible.
Provide your order number, a description of the problem and photographs where available.
We will review the issue and provide appropriate instructions.
Where goods do not meet applicable statutory requirements, customers remain entitled to the remedies provided by law.
DE2.PARTS will cover reasonable return postage costs where legally required, including qualifying returns involving faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied products.
Where appropriate, we may arrange a prepaid return label or another suitable collection method.
Customers should contact us before incurring unusual or expensive return shipping charges wherever reasonably possible.
6. Installation, Fitment and Customer Damage
Customers should check product compatibility before installation and follow applicable manufacturer specifications.
Motorcycle components must be fitted and maintained correctly, particularly safety-critical parts such as brakes, chains, sprockets, steering and suspension components.
DE2.PARTS is not responsible for damage caused solely by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised modification or improper maintenance.
However, an item will not be excluded from statutory remedies merely because a defect became apparent after installation.
Claims will be assessed fairly in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
7. Refunds
Once returned goods have been received and assessed where appropriate, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
For eligible cancellations, refunds will normally be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
Refunds for cancelled orders will include the original standard delivery charge where required by law. Additional amounts paid for premium or express delivery are not normally refundable beyond the standard delivery amount.
Where products are faulty or incorrectly supplied, any applicable statutory rights to a refund, replacement, repair or reimbursement will be honoured.
Refund timing may also depend on the payment provider.
8. International Returns
International customers should contact DE2.PARTS before arranging a return so that appropriate instructions can be provided.
For unwanted International returns, the purchaser is responsible for direct return shipping costs, where permitted by applicable law.
Customers should clearly identify parcels as returned merchandise on customs documentation and comply with applicable export and import requirements.
Additional customs procedures may apply.
Where products are faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied, reasonable return costs and other remedies will be handled in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
Mandatory consumer protections in the purchaser's country are not excluded by this policy.
9. Return Address
All return enquiries must be submitted through the Contact page on our website.
The appropriate returns address and instructions will be provided following your enquiry.
Please do not return goods to any other business address without prior confirmation.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
