DE2.PARTS — Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Business Information
DE2.PARTS is operated by Deengineered Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.
Throughout these Terms of Service, “DE2.PARTS”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Deengineered Limited.
By accessing our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, subject to your applicable statutory rights.
2. Products and Availability
DE2.PARTS supplies motorcycle parts, accessories and related products, including genuine manufacturer components, aftermarket products and NOS stock.
All products advertised as available are intended to be physically held in stock and ready for dispatch.
While we take reasonable care to maintain accurate inventory records, occasional stock discrepancies may occur. If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact the purchaser and arrange an appropriate refund or alternative where agreed.
We do not knowingly advertise aftermarket components as genuine manufacturer products.
3. Product Descriptions and Fitment
We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, manufacturer part numbers and motorcycle fitment information.
Customers should carefully check product specifications, dimensions, model years and compatibility before purchasing.
Where uncertainty exists, customers are encouraged to contact DE2.PARTS before placing an order.
Any fitment information supplied is intended as guidance and does not replace manufacturer workshop manuals or professional advice.
Nothing in this section excludes our legal responsibility to supply goods that match their descriptions and meet applicable consumer rights.
4. NOS and Older Components
Certain products sold by DE2.PARTS may be identified as NOS.
These items may have been manufactured or stored for an extended period and can exhibit minor cosmetic marks, ageing or packaging deterioration.
Where relevant, the condition of individual items will be described and illustrated in the product listing.
Customers should review photographs and condition information carefully before purchasing.
Age-related characteristics do not remove any statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency presented at checkout.
UK consumer prices include applicable UK VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
International prices may be displayed in local currencies using Shopify's currency conversion facilities.
Payment is required at checkout through the payment methods made available on our website.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. Where an error affects an order that has not yet been accepted, we will notify the customer and offer the opportunity to proceed at the correct price or receive a refund.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance.
A contract is formed when we expressly accept the order or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first.
We reserve the right to decline orders where reasonably necessary, including suspected fraud, stock discrepancies, payment issues or legal restrictions.
Where payment has been received for an order we cannot fulfil, the appropriate amount will be refunded.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We provide UK and International delivery to the destinations available at checkout.
Shipping charges are calculated according to the selected service, destination and applicable parcel weight.
Our standard international checkout currently supports shipments weighing up to approximately 2kg.
For heavier shipments, multiple chains, sprockets or larger orders, customers may request an individual shipping quotation through our Contact page.
Delivery estimates are indicative rather than guaranteed, except where a specific delivery commitment has been expressly agreed.
Further information is available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
8. International Customs and Import Charges
International shipments may attract import duties, VAT/GST, customs clearance charges, handling fees or other taxes imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient.
DE2.PARTS, DHL, Royal Mail, Parcelforce and other appointed carriers do not undertake to pay destination-country import charges on the purchaser's behalf unless expressly agreed or legally required.
Customers should familiarise themselves with applicable import requirements before ordering.
Delivery delays caused by customs procedures may fall outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section overrides any legal responsibilities applying to DE2.PARTS or the appointed carrier.
9. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Customers purchasing online may have a statutory right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving their goods without providing a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Customers must notify us of their decision to cancel and return the goods within the legally required period.
Where permitted by law and clearly communicated before purchase, customers may be responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
Products that are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet applicable statutory requirements remain subject to the customer's legal rights.
Further details are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
10. Product Installation and Safety
Motorcycle components must be installed, adjusted and maintained correctly.
Customers should follow applicable manufacturer instructions, tightening specifications and recommended maintenance procedures.
Safety-critical components, including brakes, suspension, steering and drivetrain parts, should be installed by a suitably competent person.
DE2.PARTS is not responsible for damage arising solely from incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised modification or improper maintenance.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability arising from defective products or other matters for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
11. Intellectual Property
Website content, original descriptions, branding, graphics and other material created or owned by DE2.PARTS remain the intellectual property of Deengineered Limited or their respective rights holders.
DE2® and associated branding may not be reproduced or used commercially without appropriate permission.
Manufacturer names, trademarks and part numbers appearing in product listings remain the property of their respective owners and are used for product identification and compatibility purposes.
12. Website Use
Customers agree not to misuse our website, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent orders or attempt unauthorised access to website systems.
We reserve the right to restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, customers or business operations.
13. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing affects a customer's statutory consumer rights.
Subject to those protections, DE2.PARTS is not responsible for losses resulting solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, misuse of products or incorrect installation.
14. Privacy and Personal Information
Customer information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
Payment processing and certain website functions are provided through Shopify and supported payment providers.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for additional information.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our business operations, applicable legislation or website services.
Updated terms will be published on our website.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights arising under contracts already entered into.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
This does not deprive consumers outside England and Wales of mandatory protections available under applicable consumer legislation.
